Carl Swope began his full-time automotive career in sales at Toyota of Louisville. Today, he oversees six dealerships representing nine brands in Elizabethtown and Radcliff, Ky. “In 1986, my father and uncle gave me the opportunity to purchase what was then a single-rooftop, dual dealership with 50 employees,” he said. “It has been most rewarding to see that grow to nearly 300 associates that provide for their families as part of the Swope Family of Dealerships.”
Carl has supported many civic activities, from helping families at nearby Fort Knox to raising money to restore the historic downtown district. He encourages his general managers to serve on leadership boards of area charities and his associates to volunteer and give back to the community.

We are THRILLED to announce that Jennifer Swope has been named one of Automotive News 40 Under 40 Honorees. Jennifer is part of the third generation of Swope’s and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Swope Family of Dealerships. Since returning home after nearly 10 years working in the auto industry outside of her family’s walls, Jennifer has rolled up her sleeves and dug in. She has sponsored and led many initiatives that have helped the business through the COVID pandemic. She has also followed her father and grandfathers examples of service to your community.
